As much as we try, there are always answers that crop up that we have not had time to build into our website or that still get asked on a regular basis. If you can not find the answer to your question please us the form at the bottom of this page and we will gladly answer it for you.

Q. Are you a real company?

A. Yes, Daniel Slade Photographic is a trading name of Daniel Slade Limited, registered in England, Company No 6702713. We are proud to be a British company and as such ensure everything you need is provided in writing as it should be with every photographer.

Q. What happens if your ill on the day?

A. We now employ 11 photographers, we never book all of them out on a busy wedding day, if one of our photographers falls ill we always have a backup plan with another photographer available.

Q. Do I get all the images from my wedding?

A. Yes is the simple answer, we do delete some shots that are used for lighting tests, colour balance or obvious duplicates but for the main you receive every image from your wedding. We do not select a certain amount as some photographers do as we feel it should be your decision to select which ones you like not us.

Q. Why are there no sample images on your website?

A. We have never felt comfortable using customers wedding images to advertise our company. Many customers would not like images we have taken to be used in such a way, you can be assured that we will never use your images to promote our company on the internet. Sample images and albums are available to view when we visit you to discuss a booking, we do not send images by email either!

Q. Do I have to pay a deposit?

A. Yes, all our packages require a deposit, for budget weddings the deposit required is shown for each package.

Q. How long does it take before I get my wedding images?

A. We try to get them to you as quickly as possible, we aim to have everything delivered to you within 3 weeks. During the height of the wedding season it can sometimes take 4 weeks. During June, July & August 2011 we were processing around 4000 wedding images a week!
